PBIS

Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) is an tiered framework that supports school staff in their efforts to move from a reactive to a proactive approach to behavioral interventions.

As a PBIS school, Town Creek is committed to supporting all of our students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. We utilize a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) to ensure every student is successful.

Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)

Tier 1: Universal Prevention for ALL- the foundation for behavior and academics. These supports are provided to all students, teachers, and staff.

Tier 2: Targeted Prevention for SOME- this level of support focuses on improving specific skills that some students need in order to be successful.

Tier 3: Intensive & Individualized Prevention for FEW-this level of support is available to any student with intensive need. Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports have not been sufficient to experience success.
